We Need Your Time and Talent
Wild Ones
can't function without volunteers. Our board
of directors and committee people are all volunteers.
And much of the other important work that gets
done at the national level and the chapter level
would be impossible without the help of our wonderful
volunteers.
Opportunities to Work With Wild Ones
Participation
on national committees which function primarily
as research and development committees – for
example, marketing, merchandise, climate change,
membership, finance.
Worker bees for the photo contest, the discussion
group and Facebook, and the communications committee
which includes several different teams, i.e.,
Journal, brochures and web site.
Within the framework of the Journal, these opportunities
include writing educational material for the
Journal, promoting advertising in the Journal,
and fund-raising.
Within the framework of brochures and the web
site, these opportunities include developing
and preparing new promotional and educational
material to be used at various fairs, festivals,
home and garden shows, and speaker presentations,
and on the web site.
Working with Seeds for Education grant applicants
and grant recipients throughout the United States
