"Low-maintenance Landscaping With Native Plants" will be the theme
of the Wild Ones-Natural Landscapers 2002 National Conference,
which will held July 12-14 in Columbus at The Ohio State University's Fawcett Center.
The 2000 Wild Ones Annual Conference, held in Michigan,
attracted 363 participants from as far away as Wisconsin and Virginia.
Wild Ones promotes biodiversity and environmentally sound gardening practices by landscaping with native species. Native landscapes are low-maintenance, require no watering or toxic chemicals, and provide valuable habitats for endangered wildlife.
We invite your business or organization to participate in the conference. The fees consist of $100 for a 21/2' x 6' draped table in the Fawcett Center hallway on Saturday, July 13, or $200 for cosponsorship of the conference, for which you will get a display table plus credit in the conference program. Fees must be received by June 24, 2002. Please fill out the form below; you may either submit it to us electronically, or print it and send the paper form. Make checks payable to "Wild Ones-Columbus Chapter" and mail to:
Wild Ones 2002 National Conference 70 East Dunedin Road Columbus, OH 43214
A silent auction will be held in the Fawcett Center, beginning at 8 am Saturday, to defray the costs of holding the conference, and donations of items that we can auction off will be deeply appreciated.
