The Wild Ones Annual Meeting and Conference will be held in conjunction with the first viewing of the Wild Ones EcoCenter.
Speakers include: Anne Rosenberg, who is a local raptor rehabilitator; Anita Carpenter, showing us "Birds, Bugs & Butterflies;" Kettle Moraine Landscaping owner, Connie Ramthun, speaking on "Favorite Prairie Forbs & Grasses;" Professor Dave Kopitzke, carrying us away with "Fun Facts About Woodland Plants;" and Professor Greg Summers, telling us about "Environmentalism in the Fox River Valley and the rest of the U.S.A." Rounding out the event will be Prairie Nursery owner, Neil Diboll, telling us about "What's on the Horizon."
Workshop Leaders include: Eileen Herrling, Donna VanBuecken, Steve Maassen, Kristin L. Kauth, Kay Lettau, Carol Andrews.
The fun includes several tours of natural areas in the Fox River Valley, including: Prairie Restoration Tour, Rain Garden and Raptors Tour, Remnants and Restoration Garden Tour, and Wild Ones EcoCenter Restoration Plans. Click here for more details.
