Butterfly Garden Tour - Volunteers Needed
The Illinois Audubon Society is sponsoring this second annual event on June
27 & 28. Gardens all over the Chicago area will be on display. The
coordinators are seeking gardens to include on the tour, and our chapter of
the Wild Ones was asked to seek out members with yards to show. Contact Kay

Saturday, Feb 23 - Natural Landscaping Seminar
The Wildflower Preservation & Propagation Committee presents its all-day
natural landscaping seminar on Saturday, Feb 23 at the Conference Center of
McHenry County College (Lucas Rd & Route 14), Crystal Lake. Neil Diboll of
Prairie Nursery, the "bat people" from the Organization for Bat
Conservation, and a nature photographer, are among the presenters. Call

National Strategic Planning Session on Friday Feb. 8th in Milwaukee. (Pat
Armstrong will be going and will be glad to share rides and a hotel room.)
Sat. Feb. 9th is the Audubon-Wild Ones Natural Landscaping Conference in
Milwaukee (all day) and the Q1 National Wild Ones Board Meeting (5 pm) All
members are welcome to attend.
