QUESTION #7: Using Woodchips for paths

I'm creating some walking paths through my woodlands with woodchips. I had heard or
read somewhere that several layers of newspapers under the woodchips will help keep
weeds from sprouting up. Other recommendations say forget the newspaper and just make
sure the woodchip are layers to a depth of four inches. Anyone else have experience
and/or tips that can share?
